Winter paid a visit to the Isle of Wight this week – like the rest of the country we had our share of snow. The snow started on Thursday afternoon and by Friday the Isle of Wight had well and truly ground to a halt! But the farm carried on – we had to carry water to the cattle from the one and only water supply that wasn’t frozen. All a bit tiresome but lucky for us the temperature increased on Friday night and by Saturday we were pretty much thawed out – if a little wet and muddy in the rain and with melting snow running through the yards. Then on Sunday normal service resumed and we enjoyed clear blue skies and sunshine – #pureislandhappiness
